NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Mission (MER), is an ongoing robotic space mission involving two rovers,
Spirit and Opportunity, exploring the planet Mars. It began in 2003 with the sending of the two rovers
-- MER-A Spirit and MER-B Opportunity -- to explore the Martian surface and geology. ( Wikipedia )
To explore the unknown world it is always a big part content of human history. Science-fiction novels and films seem to have been emphasizing that if we encounter an unknown civilization,must
be higher than our biological intelligence. If we consider the history of the western Age of Discovery,
Western society which based on such a background probably conclude that, in the face of highly developed
alien civilization, must be a disaster for humanity: slavery, war, killing…….
But if we imagine alien civilization in what we unexpected way to explore our planet in the same time, how
interesting it would be. Imagine that the round way exploration is ongoing and not perceived by both sides. If we
look back to observe different civilizations of Earth, Perhaps is the same. Seemingly one-way communication
may not be the case. Similarly, differences between civilizations seem huge, but the difference may be much
smaller than what we think.
Above is my concerning about my work of Earth Exploration Rover sent by Martian. After I finish these sentences,
I walk out of my studio and took a picture of a thing which I don’t know what material it made.
And it only took by one shot, then I back.

对未知文明的探索一直存在，科幻小说和电影似乎一直在强调如果我们遇到未知文明 一定是比我们高等智慧的生物。基于大 航海时代历史考虑的西方社会必然得出这样的结论，面对高智慧的外来文明，对人类而言必定是个灾难：奴役，战争，杀戮……….
但是如果与此同时外来文明以不为我们意料与所知的方式在探索我们的星球，会是怎样的有趣。不为对方所察觉的双向交流正在秘密进行。我们把目光拉回，观察地球之内的不同文明的交流方式 也许同样如此，看似单方面的交流可能并不是这样的。文明间看似差异巨大，其实未必，差异可能永远比我们设想的要小的多。
在我写完这些句子后，我走出工作室，拍下一个我不知道是什么东西的东西的照片。
